A no-interaction session is when a visitor lands on your site and does absolutely nothing — no scrolling, no clicking, no pageviews. This is one of the strongest signs of click fraud.
What it looks like:
- 0–3 second session duration;
- single pageview only;
- zero interaction (no scroll, no hover, no click);
- visitor disappears instantly.
Why it’s harmful:
- lowers engagement scores;
- distorts analytics data;
- Google Ads may downgrade your ad’s relevance;
- you’re paying for worthless traffic.
How to respond:
- enable AntiClick to detect and flag no-interaction sessions;
- block IPs that repeatedly produce them;
- review referrers, geolocation, and device patterns;
- adjust Smart Bidding strategies to avoid poor traffic quality.
