If suspicious traffic continues even after blocking IPs, that’s a red flag. Fraudsters may rotate IPs, change devices, or use VPNs to keep attacking your ads.
Signs of persistent fraud traffic:
- traffic spikes again shortly after blocking;
- same indicators (very short sessions, 95%+ bounce rate);
- many clicks, zero conversions;
- same region but varying IPs and user-agents.
What to do:
- Enable automated protection (AntiClick):
It will block recurring fraud patterns in real-time. - Tighten geo or language targeting:
If one region is problematic, pause ads there temporarily. - Activate AntiClick API for automatic exclusions:
Suspicious IPs go to Google Ads without manual work. - Apply frequency capping:
Limit how often your ad is shown to the same user. - Review your ad content:
Fraud may be triggered by competitive keywords or sensitive topics.
